Accessible municipalities – Understanding the concept Design for All / Communes accessibles – Comprendre le concept Design pour Tous / Barrierefreie Gemeinden – Das Konzept Design für Alle verstehen
Barrierefreiheit in den Gemeinden in denen wir leben, arbeiten, aktiv sind, ist ein bedeutender Faktor für die Lebensqualität von uns allen. Dabei geht es nicht nur um das Vermeiden von baulichen Barrieren wie zum Beispiel schmale Bürgersteige, Treppen oder schwere Eingangstüren, sondern auch um korrekte Serviceleistungen oder Kommunikation und Information, die für alle Bürger der Gemeinde zugänglich sind.
Die Minister Léon Gloden (Innere Angelegenheiten) und Max Hahn (Familie, Solidarität, Zusammenleben und Unterbringung von Flüchtlingen) werden das Thema aus Sicht ihrer jeweiligen Zuständigkeitsbereiche erläutern, während einige Gemeinden ihre Aktivitäten im Sinne des Design für Alle vorstellen. Schliesslich werden die Vereine ADAPTH und Info-Handicap ihre Arbeit zur Förderung von Barrierefreiheit und Design für Alle erklären.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, jedoch müssen Sie sich anmelden.
Dans les communes dans lesquelles nous vivons, travaillons, sommes actifs, l’accessibilité est un critère important pour notre qualité de vie à tous. Cela ne se limite pas au fait d’éviter des barrières architecturales, comme p.ex. des trottoirs étroits, des marches d’escaliers ou des portes d’entrée lourdes, mais vise également la prestation de services corrects ou encore une information et communication accessibles à tous les citoyaens d’une commune.
Messieurs les ministres Léon Gloden (Affaires intérieures) et Max Hahn (Famille, Solidarités, Vivre ensemble et Accueil) aborderont le sujet du point de vue de leurs ressorts de compétences respectifs, tandis que quelques communes présenteront leurs initiatives en faveur du Design pour Tous. Finalement les organisations ADAPTH et Info-Handicap expliqueront leurs missions au niveau de la promotion de l’accessibilité et du Design pour Tous.

In the municipalities where we live, work, are active, accessibility is an important key for the quality of life of all of us. That does not just consist in avoiding barriers in the built environment like i.e. narrow footpaths, steps or heavy doors, but targets also the provision of good service or information and communication that reaches all the citizens of a municipality.
The ministers Léon Gloden (Internal affairs) and Max Hahn (Family affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees) will explain the topic from the point of view of their domains of competence, whereas several municipalities will present their initiatives in the field of Design for All. Finally, the organisations ADAPTH and Info-Handicap will explain their missions in the provision of accessibility and Design for All.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge, but registration is compulsory.
